Canreef Resort is on Herathera Island, one of the 6 islands that form Addu Atoll, the Southernmost Atoll in the Maldives. The island is 4.5 km long and narrow with the villas, restaurants, and bars all centrally located towards the middle of the island.

Canareef Resort offers experiences suitable for romantic getaways, solo escapes, exciting adventures with friends, or enjoyable family vacations.

The Villas are set along the East and West coastline, with the Sunrise Villas on the East, and the Sunset Villas on the West. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk, and free Wi-Fi access throughout the villa and outlets. At the resort, all the rooms along with an Oceanview. have 40-inch LCD televisions, Air-conditioners, Coffee and Tea making facilities, a Minibar, toiletries, and a safety deposit box.
The resort consists of 2 restaurant and 3 bars. Kilhi is the main restaurant where Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served in the buffet style. Light meals and drinks are served at the Dhoni Bar. A La Carte dining and drinks are available at the Meera Bar. Snacks and drinks are available at the Beach Bar. Various excursions and water sports are available along with resort-based activities and facilities such as a fully equipped gym, Tennis court, Table tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Spa, Swimming pool, and Souvenir shop.

Option 1: From Gan International Airport (GAN): 10-minute speedboat ride to Canareef.

19th March- 31st October 2024. Complimentary Return speedboat Transfer is available only from GAN International airport.

Option 2: From Velena International Airport (MLE): 75–95-minute domestic flight to Gan and a 10-minute speedboat ride to Canareef.

The prices of the Speedboat and the Domestic Transfers will be shared by the team once the booking is confirmed by the guest.

Our representatives will be at both airports to welcome you and assist you with your transfers.

Lounge services will be provided for guests arriving at Male International Airport.

Domestic flight transfers are handled by a third-party company; Island Aviation Service (IAS).

To arrange Domestic flights, the Resort must receive all transfer details at the time of booking accommodation and no later than 2 (two) weeks prior to arrival, including, full name of all visitors as it appears in the passport along with the flight details to and from Maldives.

Resort will not guarantee same-day transfers if transfer details are not received within this time or if the transfer details are amended within 10 days of arrival.

For guests who are arriving at MLE airport after 22:00, same-day domestic transfer to Gan cannot be guaranteed. However, the resort will gladly assist the clients with overnight accommodation at Hulhumale or Male’. Overnight accommodation charges are to be borne by the clients and their transfer to the resort will be the following day subject to availability.

Guests who are departing from MLE airport before 09:00 may need to depart the resort the night before and again, in such a case the resort will gladly assist the clients with overnight accommodation at Hulhumale or Male’, with overnight accommodation charges to be borne by the clients.

For guests who are arriving at Gan Airport, the speedboat will be arranged accordingly (the Speedboat time might differ based on unavoidable circumstances).

Other details: Children under 5 years will eat for free based on the rules and meal-plan accompanied by an adult. A mandatory green tax of USD 6 per child/infant per night will be charged.

Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making the payment at the hotel. Please note that the property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes.

Due to safety and privacy concerns the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones by any of the guests including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists is prohibited.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.

„Urlaub mit Gegensätzen.
Grossflächige Anlage. Genug Platz für alle. Spa erstklassig. Personal sehr freundlich und behilflich.
Der Strand ist eher untypisch für Malediven: wegen Seegras nur teilweise einladend. Kein Wifi on the beach. Bescheidene Auswahl beim Essen.

Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage und tolles Essen! Die Insel größer was mit dem Fahrrad oder durch ausreichende Buggy leicht zu erreichen ist. Es sind die Beach Villa sowie die Whirlpool Villa ruhig und in direkter Strandlage. Die Tauchschule ist Super!!! Alles in einem sehr gerne wieder

„Ich würde nie jemanden dieses Resort mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen können.
Die Natur
Nachdem wir Stundenlang in der Lobby am Flughafen warten mussten und nicht so wie versprochen 45 min-1 Stunde konnten wir endlich in den Flieger und unsere Flitterwochen angehen.Angekommen mussten wir feststellen, das unsere Flitterwochen vergessen wurden und uns versichert wurde, das es am nächsten Tag vorbereitet wird.Als wir Abends im Bett lagen, klopfte es an der Tür und es hieß „Reinigung“.Wir gingen hinaus und mussten 30 Minuten warten bis wir hinein durften.Da sahen wir dass das Bett für die Flitterwochen vorbereitet wurde.Das Resort wirbt mit einen romantischen Dinner am Strand, was wir nicht bekamen.Zudem konnten wir Abends nicht einschlafen, weil bis 23:30 Uhr die Musik in der Var so laut gewesen ist, das man nicht weghören kann.Frühstückszeit ist zu kurz und das Abendessen zu spät.Wenn man doch woanders essen möchte, ist es total überteuert.Zudem haben wir ein ganz anderes Problem gehabt, wo Sie es hätten lösen können, aber nicht wollten (man hat auch keine Chance, da du auf die angewiesen bist, weil es ein Hotelinsel ist.Hierzu wird es ein YouTube-Video auf meinem Channel geben.Im Grunde zocken Sie dich ab, wenn Sie die Möglichkeit haben.Das Schnorcheln ist sehr teuer und ehrlich gesagt muss man es nicht machen für den Preis.Man fährt kurz vom Strand weg und geht dann tauchen.Wir waren zu dritt und uns wurden 2 Fahrräder gestellt.Ich ging zur Rezeption und sagte das wir noch eins brauchen.Mir wurde gesagt, das es gleich bei uns am Bungalow abgestellt wird, wurde es aber nicht.Also lief ich am nächsten morgen wieder dahin um es noch einmal zu erwähnen.Da kam das Fahrrad 5 Stunden später an.Im großen und ganzen, muss man nicht hierhin kommen.Für den Preis was wir bezahlt haben, gibt es viel bessere Orte auf den Malediven und man hat nicht soviel Stress wie hier.
